In a heating elevation system the crop heat tubes hang on the ideal distance to the crops but can be lifted when needed for instance for water supply, harvesting or soil cultivation.
Many greenhouses have lift systems; for heating activities (in combination with the wire netting for the plants) the system is lifted simultaneously with the crop growth. It might lift to the top several times a day for instance for water supply.
It goes without saying that this lifting needs a most reliable motor. As a decisive feature the motor has to be 100% self-braking and capable of withstanding these high loads.

Fixed Heating Elevation

For elevating crop heat tubes or for heating on long layers combined with wire netting for plants, the torque tubes will be driven by a gear motor that has a limit switch control. This of course requires utmost reliability and self-braking motors.
Over the years these gear systems have proven to be long-lasting, reliable and silent running.
